Who we are

Radicula is a living fieldroom, born at the intersection of scientific and artistic practice. It is guided by a researcher and maker still making sense of this world: she studies living systems and creates alongside them. Along that path, two truths emerged: resilience is not solitary, and survival is communal.

In nature, resilience lives in networks. Ecosystems thrive through the exchange of nutrients, watersheds shape life downstream, and species adapt together rather than alone. In human communities, it lives in shared stories, mutual care, and the wisdom passed hand to hand. Radicula seeks to honor these parallels by creating a space where knowledge is not extracted, but tended.

Radicula means small root in Latin. It is not just a collection, it’s a collective. A practice. A place to give back. To slow down enough to notice what endures. To produce fragments of scientific, ancestral, reflective, and creative expression. To let them inform one another. To root ourselves more deeply in the living world, and in the communities that sustain us.
